Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the NextTech Academy website and enrolling in our educational programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("the Student") and NextTech Academy LLC ("the Academy"), registration number 803456789. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must refrain from using our services and enrolling in our programs.

2. Description of Services

NextTech Academy provides intensive technical training programs in software engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud architecture. Our services include instructor-led curriculum delivery, access to immersive laboratory environments, career coaching, and placement assistance. The specific details of each program, including duration, curriculum content, and deliverables, are outlined in the respective program syllabus provided at the time of enrollment.

3. Enrollment and Eligibility

Admission to NextTech Academy is based on a technical assessment and interview process. To be eligible for enrollment, applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess the legal right to study in their respective jurisdiction. The Academy reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant who does not meet our technical standards or professional code of conduct requirements.

4. Tuition and Payment Terms

Tuition fees for our programs are specified during the enrollment process. Students may choose from several payment models, including upfront payment, monthly installments, or Income Share Agreements (ISAs). For ISA models, students are subject to specific terms regarding repayment thresholds and caps, which are detailed in a separate ISA Agreement. Failure to maintain payment schedules may result in temporary suspension of access to the Academy's learning platforms and services.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All educational materials provided by NextTech Academy, including but not limited to curriculum documents, coding exercises, recorded lectures, and proprietary laboratory software, are the intellectual property of NextTech Academy LLC. Students are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use these materials for personal educational purposes only. Redistribution, reproduction, or commercial use of our materials without explicit written consent is strictly prohibited. Conversely, students retain the intellectual property rights to the original code and projects they create during the program, though they grant the Academy a perpetual license to use such projects for promotional and educational purposes.

6. Professional Code of Conduct

NextTech Academy maintains a rigorous professional environment. Students are expected to treat instructors, staff, and peers with respect and professionalism. Prohibited behaviors include academic dishonesty (plagiarism), harassment of any kind, and intentional disruption of the learning environment. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in immediate dismissal from the program without a refund of tuition fees.

7. Limitation of Liability

NextTech Academy provides educational training designed to improve technical skills and career prospects. However, we do not guarantee specific employment outcomes, salary levels, or job offers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextTech Academy LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your participation in our programs or the use of our website. All services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

8. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Austin, Texas. Before initiating legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith mediation.

9. Termination of Agreement

Students may withdraw from the program at any time by providing written notice to the admissions office. Refund eligibility is determined by the date of withdrawal in accordance with our Tuition Refund Policy and Texas Workforce Commission regulations. The Academy reserves the right to terminate this agreement if a student fails to meet academic standards or violates the professional code of conduct.
